In a little dreamer's kitchen, where stories were whispered and kindness was the secret ingredient, something magical began to pop.
Not just any popcorn, but a golden, crunchy kettle of joy, wrapped in caramel and sprinkled with wonder.
The dreamer chose only the finest real ingredients, treating each one with care and gratitude. No shortcuts. No compromises. Just pure, simple goodness.
And so, Fable was born: to bring a little magic to everyday moments and turn the ordinary into something unforgettable.
What “This Is Not Popcorn” means
It does not mean there is no popcorn in it. Popcorn is where every Fable creation begins, and we are proud of that.
It means this is not just an ordinary tub of popcorn. We take a familiar treat and build it into something closer to a dessert: sauce layered through lightly salted popcorn, contrasting textures, and toppings finished by hand while you watch.
It is a little occasion, a moment of wonder, and a story worth sharing.
Why we are called Fable
Each signature creation has a name, a character and a short story of its own. A unicorn who shares her wish. The smallest dinosaur, who finds out what makes you mighty. A young bear learning what real magic is. A little fox on his way home.
They are stories about kindness, courage, friendship and belonging, written for children and for the adults reading over their shoulders. Anyone can choose any creation.
A cart worth seeking out
Fable is a Polokwane brand. For now we travel as a cart, popping up at events around the city: a white cart, a gold popcorn machine, and a careful row of sauces and toppings.
The aroma draws people closer. You choose a creation, watch the finishing touches come together, and leave with something that feels special enough to photograph before the first bite.
We want Fable to be somewhere you go on purpose, and come back to for another favourite.
